Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use the Miseriboards website or place an order with us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms together with our Shipping, Returns and Privacy policies. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory consumer rights.

Products and custom builds

Miseriboards sells controller parts, accessories, prebuilt controllers and made-to-order custom controller builds. Custom builds may include third-party controller boards, stick modules, switches, shells and other components selected as part of your chosen specification.

For custom builds, we may contact you after checkout to confirm shell colour, cosmetic choices and any details that depend on current stock. If you request a special shell, part or conversion that is not normally listed, we will confirm availability, any additional price and any additional lead time before carrying out that work.

Orders and payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the storefront. Delivery charges, where applicable, are shown at checkout. An order is accepted when Shopify confirms the order and payment is successfully authorised or otherwise accepted by the payment method used.

If a pricing, stock or specification error is discovered before work begins, we will contact you before proceeding and provide appropriate options.

Lead times

Made-to-order custom controller builds normally require 2–3 weeks before dispatch. Specially sourced shells, parts or requested conversions may extend this timeframe.

Performance and compatibility information

Polling-rate, resolution and latency information shown on our site describes supported settings, published specifications or measured test results for the relevant hardware and mode. Actual performance can vary with firmware, controller mode, cable, USB host, operating system, game and PC configuration. A stated polling rate is not a guarantee of identical end-to-end latency on every system.

Customer-supplied controllers

For Send-In Service work, you are responsible for securely packaging your controller for transit to us. We will assess the controller and contact you if we discover unrelated damage or a fault that materially changes the requested work.

Warranty, faults and returns

Custom-build workmanship is supported by our 6-month Miseriboards build-fault cover, subject to the exclusions explained on our Warranty & Aftercare page. This cover is additional to your legal rights. Returns, cancellations and faulty goods are handled under our Returns & Custom Order Policy.

Website content

Product images are representative unless the listing identifies the exact individual item being sold. Small cosmetic differences can occur between shells, components and batches. Miseriboards branding, original photographs and original website content may not be copied or used commercially without permission.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or rights and remedies that cannot legally be excluded.

Please do not ship anything or send any correspondence to this address. This is not our workshop, returns, repairs or Send-In delivery address. Contact Miseriboards through the channels on our Contact page before sending anything and we will provide the correct delivery details.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your place of residence.
